*Le Sigh* January has been an excellent month for me. I got through my exams with confidence. I finally sorted out all the B.S. with Barclays and have my accounts in order. I got an email from a friend from Chico I thought I had lost contact with. My first visitor from the California came. This is one of those times I am immortalizing something for myself…

We went and saw “Big Fish” the new Tim Burton movie on Sunday night. It was very funny, I enjoyed it quite a bit. Tim Burton still has one of the best imaginations in Hollywood . I'm still trying to figure out why everyone had a small pimple on their foreheads between their eyes. Helena Bonham Carter, was a completely new character again.

Yesterday was so busy. By 10am we were down in Brighton having Coffee and breakfast pie. Then we went to the Royal Pavilion (Yes this genius forgot his camera the whole time, that he even bought batteries for!) it was the palace of the King of England back in 1820. The interior is decorated in a far-east design totally not would you would expect in an English Palace . So after that we went down to the Beach and I showed her the Piers and we had more coffee at a seaside place.

Then we went down to the Sealife Centre which is like a marine world thing. It was very cool, they had as many aquariums as any place I had ever seen. The coolest parts though were the giant sea turtles and manta rays; which I had never seen in reality before. The turtles and manta would follow you around the huge pool and the mantas kept sticking there heads out of the water because they can smell you. This place also had giant crabs, and I mean giant, the baby ones they had from Japan were over 3 feet wide. They also had a lot of seahorses they even had babies that were smaller then pennies.

After that we stopped in and ate at my favorite place to eat in Brighton and had tuna-melts. Frank-in-steins they sell melt sandwiches that are excellent (she also is a tuna fan) and the whole place is Frankenstein themed.

So then we came back to my place to watch “Bowling for Columbine” because she wanted to see it for the first time and we had a bottle of wine (Another person like me who only likes white not red). Then I gave Ollie a call and we all met for a Drink at a Pub in Brighton and had a lot more then a drink. Then we barely made it to the Falmer station train. When we got into Brighton station we had 20 minutes to just chill and say goodbye and we had someone take a picture of us. Then we parted ways her back to California and me back to Campus. I was really tempted to get on that train and head home. I had a great time with her it was great seeing a California face for the first time in 4 months, once we parted it made me miss California more then ever…
