Welcome back. Hopefully, February will be at least half as good as January. Wednesday it snowed here for the first time, there was more then an inch of snow covering everything. It looked cool, once again I did not have my camera.

Since my last update I have been out to pubs almost every night. Sometimes I stop and contemplate being 9,000 miles away from California when I am out and it is weird to me as a little over a year ago I had no idea I would be here.

I launched my company's new website www.ala.com it is the best website I have ever produced. Although, I still hold the line that I do not particularly enjoy making them, I do not find it easy.

Lots of news out in the world this week; I can't believe Reuters actually ran this load of shitty propaganda! Of course self-employed aren't counted in unemployment numbers! However, they still lack health insurance and unemployment figures also hide the number of people who have just given up looking for work. So I would argue the self-employed make up a very tiny fraction of American workers and you have to ask how many of that 15 million were employed in their present occupation before 911, I'd bet most were.

"Are you loyal to Islam if you daily pray, but then trample on the rights of the people," Karroubi, a cleric, said to widespread applause by lawmakers. Someone should ask Dubyah this, just replace Islam with Jesus. Sadly, I see tremendous parallel between the US and Iran with the current election scandal in Iran. Rather then disqualifying the opposition party, Republicans are killing (Wellstone), or rigging elections with “paperless balloting”. I am really considering moving to Canada if Bush wins in 2004.

Big news Gateway is buying Emachines. Here's the punch line, the Emachines CEO is replacing the Gateway CEO! WTF!?!?!? Gateway producers premium quality PC's for a premium price. Emachines are the Kmart of computers. Maybe they've just given up at Gateway…

The US and Chinese bubble economies of over production are on a collision course. Washington Post reports CIA did not distort evidence on Iraq 's WMD . Of course not, the Bush Administration did that all by themselves. The US military will be making their own campaign contribution this spring, when they launch a major offensive in Afghanistan to capture Bin Laden just in time for the 2004 vote. Krugman, calls for Bush accountability on WMD lies .
