More Real....
As Profound as 911 was... These London bombing hit mucher closer to home for me. I have been in every place that was bombed. I have good friends that still live in London. Fortunatly, none of them were hurt. However, this was still much more chilling. The reaction of the English has been unique. America went into a histeric blood thirsty panic. The people of Spain immeadiatly called for action to prevent future attacks. The English are patiently waiting for investigation results. More on this as I think about it.
July 1st I went to the AMD tech tour. The food was dissapointing, but understandable due to the number of people. The AMD HQ was very bland and unimpressive. So I put together my new PC on Thursday night, AMD64 3200, GIG of PC3200, Asus A8N-E, and Radeon X800XL. The only thing is the case I bought is too small for the power supply, so I am considering buying a new one and putting my old computer in it. I am still debating what to do with my old 2ghz, 1 gig of RAM, computer with a 9800 Pro. Probably only worth a couple hundred at the most. But the new computer is a vast improvement over the old. I resubscribed to EQ2 and Planetside and they play MUCH smoother now and no crashes yet!
I also have officially finished my probation. I signed up for a huge amount of life/cancer/health/dental insurance. In a couple of weeks my company is flying me down to San Diego for IT department team building weekend which should be a lot of fun.
I am strongly considering getting my car repainted when I get back. I need to get an alignment this weekend.
My next dilema is joining a health club. But the rates those rent seeking bastards charge are crazy.
