So my new company end-sight.com has set my start date for July 9th. I finally had an opportunity to talk with my new boss and I am very excited about my first client and have been studying for it.

Landam is laying us all off on June 30th. So rather than sit around bored in Berkeley for a week I decided to take another trip. So I thought to myself where can I go by myself without terrible crowds and being too hot on the week of 4th of July. I decided on Alaska on June 30th I am flying into Anchorage and spending a day there. The Next day I am going to Seward to go on a Whale/Glacier cruise for a couple of days. Then I'll be going to Whitter for the 4th of July for a Prince William Sound wildlife cruise and they have an annual BBQ celebration in this tiny town with fireworks. I am then taking a Red eye back to California on Friday July 6th. I'm going to take loads of pictures as usual to post here. I am really looking forward to this trip. I also will have lots of pictures from Mike's Wedding in N. Carolina I'll be heading out for that on June 19th.

I get to work remotely till probably Tuesday June 5th. I had start playing WOW again a week ago, but as usual it dawned on me that devoting so much time to a game is silly. Without any new certs to study I have decided I am going to try getting back into writing. I have a couple of ideas for truth stranger then fiction funny short stories I am going to try to write up to start off with. I really love the way Sci-fi shares philosophy with people who don't take philosophy classes. I am just not confident in my ability to create natural conversation. We'll see how this goes...
