Back again
So Hong Kong was Hot & Humid. It was also very productive, spending a week with my new boss was great I feel a lot more comfortable with him which is critical since I'll be primarily dealing with him over the company instant messenger. The training went well too by the second day he just had me help show examples of what he was talking about rather than answer questions since he told the group I knew the answers.
I did my first solo on-site visit this week and it went just fine. I have another this week I will be studying for tomorrow.
I am going to Seattle the last week of this month on business too. I'll take some pictures from the space needle.
Speaking of Pictures, I uploaded a new picture of me in Hong Kong. I also added a pictures page for Hong Kong.
I also added a new rant tonight I really think is pretty good. It's an exploration of Protests as individual therapy.
I've been re-reading the Song of Fire and Ice series this summer. I have also been seeing a lot of movies. Get Smart and Kungfu Panda were the funniest I have seen so far and would recommend them. Wanted was much better than I expected excellent action series. HellBoy 2 was also very good, if you liked Pan's Labrithyn you'd probably enjoy it.
I have been doing a lot of dating too. Nothing spectacular so far... I think I need change where I am looking there have been way to many giant * lately as in, she would be great except, she's unemployed, a full time gamer, dead end job, etc. Friendship is based on shared experience, so I need to figure out how to find people to share experience with or share.
Eric and Bree are getting married in a couple of weeks in Tahoe I am looking forward to that, I have never been to Tahoe. August 23rd the Hops in Humboldt brewfest is back and I'll be going with Eric and Adam again.
I also bought a Wii before leaving for Hong Kong and that has been a LOT of fun.
