Settle in for a long one...

Picking up where I left off... Finished rereading the "Song of Fire and Ice" series. Martin has recently announced the TV Pilot is going into production I'm really looking forward to it.

Lately I have been reading more Heinlein I haven't read anything of his I haven't liked yet.

Also been playing Wii. I still highly recommend it. In fact I returned my PS3.

Bree & Eric's wedding was great three days in good company at Lake Tahoe. A few weeks ago we went to Jim Gaffighan together. Jim put on a good show a lot of new material.

One of the things holding me back from posting is I bought LED taillights for Stranger and I have them installed. I also bought a hood scoop though and I didn't want to post till I had pictures. Already, the taillights are a big plus. I also bought new tires for a really good price with the live.com/ebay cash back offer.

Dating... Well I was dating someone really cool for a while. She really liked me for me, and I learned a lot from her. Ultimately, we were just too different but still a good experience.

Argent Software... I no longer work there. I was laid off on the 28th. They had already laid off a lot of people and I saw this coming. The Bonuses promised never materialized so I wasn't too upset when it happened. I got a lot of travel out of it too, Hong Kong, Seattle, and Austin Texas.

This all lead to Eugene Oregon. I live there now as of Friday night. A day after being laid off I found out one of my favorite former bosses was now working in Eugene. We got in touch and I found out his company was looking for a systems engineer so I applied. It took about a month to go through all the interviewing but I now have a good job that will keep me going through the recession. The cost of living is a lot cheaper than California so far I found a good 2br 1bath. Bought a 32" LCD TV and getting acquainted with HD.

In the political realm I was releaved to see Obama win. He has big expectations to meet...

While I was off in November I also hit the gym pretty hard. I discovered Elipticals are very easy on my knees and let me do some serious cardio. They have the same machines at my Apartment's Gym. I'm also about a mile from my new office. I start work there tomorrow.

Oh and I've renewed this domain through 2019...
