Milk was good!
So I counted and I only posted seven times so far this year. I am going to work on improving that.
I went and saw "Milk" Sunday night. It was pretty good, I thought they did good job of not making light of his homosexuality and at the same time not beating you over the head with it. I really wish this movie had come out before the Prop 8 vote. They also did an excellent job of underscoring how Milk was a Martyr for the cause of Gay Civil Rights so his death was not the end of the movement. Odd connection, my Kindergarten teacher was Mrs. Dan White...
I also woke up to something for the first time this morning, three inches of snow on the ground. I'll upload pictures when I get my apartment finished (I still need a couch). Fortunately I live about a mile from the office otherwise I probably would not have gone in. Driving a rear wheel drive car through that much snow with no chains is not easy. I am thankful though I got to try it before trying to cross the pass in the snow. I am planning on heading down to Stockton for Xmas but if it's snowing I may not, an 8 hour drive is bad enough without adding snow.
Work so far is going well I am making contributions already. I had a great time Friday night after work. I went to a vendor xmas party and was out pretty late with the vendor my boss and his wife.
I also finally got all of the pieces to my bed together on Friday night. So now I'm enjoying sleeping on a memory foam bed, and so far it's been great. Tonight the low is 18 degrees!
10 days till 29... wow
