Obama debt Swap...
People have been telling me to do it for years...
I finally decided to buy a house this year. The Obama Tax Credit for first time buyers is just too attractive. I was planning on paying off Stran6r this year but instead I am going to use that money for a down payment and closing costs. Then in February 2010 I will use the Tax Credit to payoff Stran6r getting me back to less then my current rent car payment monthly payments. Except in 2010 I will then own my car outright and have a Mortgage instead of rent. So I've got a lot of studying to do in the next few months to prepare. For the Tax Credit the sale has to close before 12/1/09 so I figure I'll have to enter escrow by the end of September. Which is perfect because my lease is up at my current apartment on 10/31/09. This is pretty exciting to me.
Tonight I went and saw, "The International" there is an EXCELLENT gun fight scene. But the rest of the movie was just okay, I already knew about debt being a yoke on society.
I'm also swapping my 32" TV for a 37" with integrated DVD this month too since they now cost the same.
