Watchmen
I've been fighting a cold for a couple of weeks now so things have been slow.
I did see the Watchmen last weekend. I enjoyed it, definitely my type of humor. Not certain it's for everyone.
I finally swapped my turn signals completing my upgrades to Stran6r. I have updated my pictures to show the new turn signals, scoop, and LED lights. I am very happy with how it turned out.
I read "The Return of Depression Economics" while I was flying to California by Paul Krugman. So far he is dead on about how this recession is progressing. In so many words he admits inflation is how we are going to get out of this recession so more motivation for me to get into a house soon. I've been watching housing on CL here in Eugene and I think I'll be able to afford a decent single family home.
I had a nice visit to California seeing my family. However, I won't be trying that on a short weekend again too much time at the airport especially with the weather.
I got a new tv stand and some better lighting for my living room and it has really improved things. My sister also showed me how to posterize my digital photos so I got a few of those hung up now too.
I got a new wii game for $10 this week too, "Rubix". I am really enjoying it a great puzzler.
I am also starting to work hard at finding a place for us to stay in Munich for Octoberfest and am finding most places already rented out. I am not looking forward to having to look hard to find a decent place.
I've also been getting into facebook as a great way to keep int touch with old friends.
