So I'm back in Chico for a few days. I'll update before I leave again. Christmas was good, very little drama, good friends & Food.
I saw the new Lord of the rings movie. It was decent they kept it going throughout its entire length. This one had an
ending and was much more exciting.
New Years was cool, I spent it with close to 12 friends I graduated from high school with. I can hardly believe
high school was 4.5 years ago.
To date I have not been productive on this break. I still have papers to review and have yet to start my paper.
I've been entranced by playing Final Fantasy Tactics. Since getting back to Chico its magic is departing though. So
I can hopefully get some work done before I head back to Stockton next week. Last night I made it from Stockton to Chico in
110 minutes, a personal best. Taking 20 to connect 70 and 99 shaves quite a bit of time.
Before drowning my thought in Final Fantasy, xmas was depressing. It reminds me of the South Park song, "Its hard to be a Jew on xmas".
It is also hard to be an Anti-capitalist on xmas. It really annoys me that people just don't care about each the other 11 months of the year.
I also find the whole consumption=happiness VERY annoying. South Park has it right xmas is really about consumption and
nothing else.
