I've been bad, its been almost 2 weeks since I updated and I really don't have a good reason. I will make this a long update though. Last week I was in
Stockton, lots of drama so I left after 3 days. This week I've been working on copy editing and am down to 5 papers
I hope to finish while watching playoff games. I've also been playing entirely to much AO.
I also read the latest book in the Wheel of Time series, Crossroads of Twilight.
I was very disappointed. It was very slow paced and not much happened in 700 pages. I will still
read the next in the series probably, merely because I have read the first 10 now.
I still have not started the paper I want to write over break. Although,
I finally found a class to fill my last 1.5 units so there's no rush on that paper. Though I do plan to complete it before the 27th.
My main road block at this point is I can't find a primary source and the principal researcher has not responded to my email.
So I'm going to be taking Intro. International Relations and Religious Ethics which are required. My other 3 classes to meet units will be interesting and
not all that tough, Existentialism, Future Economics, & Studium. It still has not sunk in this is my last semester. Although, my books are going to be expensive:(
I've been trying to avoid the main stream press. I'll just say it saddens me. Right now all the networks are saying the
war is only a maybe, and at the same time running stories that are supposed to be patriotic about families being split up to go to war.
To me that is just sad, these people should not have to go to war for something that does not benefit them at a potentially huge cost to that which they actually hold most dear.
However, I will go ahead and read up and post links.
Holy crap! if you read the link below about military recruitment, it is clear college money is the last reason to join the military.
If you don't have the money to go to JC when you leave high school and then join the military till your 23, when you get out
you would be eligible for a lot more financial aid then you would at 18 since they now don't count your parents income against you!
I got a Micheal Moore Desk Calendar from a friend for xmas and it has motivated me to start a page of quotes, I'm going to add it to the papers section.
