First update in two weeks is not good. I plan to be more frequent then that. I'll begin with I sprained my ankle Halloween 5 minutes after getting off work. That was still bothering me on the 7th, when I did it again at exactly the same spot. Today I can limp around. Hopefully, I'll be healed enough to make it into work tomorrow. I have an Ankle brace and that is helping some what. The whole situation has put a real damper on most of my activity the last 2 weeks.

Last week I had a paper and I have another due this week. I have both done. I’m not that happy with either. I think it is because I have never written anything like them. They are papers written as knowledge tests not a lot of fun to write. I am writing this way though because this is how were going to be tested. I found the requirements to get a “distinction” versus just passing and it is huge; although, passing should not be tough. Basically it will take more then twice the effort to get a distinction then it will to get just a pass. I am still enjoying my classes. I also have another presentation next week.

Other then spraining my ankle, I like my new job. I am still learning my way around. I think I will fit in fine there. It might seem like to many hours a week but it is a nice break from my routine of room to library and back again. The library also got there wireless network running and it totally kicks ass. It is the fastest network I have ever connected too, it is also very stable. I also got to go this entire week without hot water in my room, they finally fixed it today.

I also have been introduced to a new type of music I dig a lot, electronica. I ordered half a dozen of what is considered the best electronica off half.com and I look forward to listening to them. I was introduced when I bought the Fight Club score a couple of weeks. No lyrics, just music. It is very cool to study too. I have been listening to it almost non-stop. In any case its nice to break out of my usual half dozen artists I usually stick too. I also have my train ticket to Manson now. I’ll be able to get to London and back in one day, no missed class.

The Phone I bought on ebay was DOA, though the seller has promised to send me a new battery that I am still waiting for. I hope this works out. The cheapest phones other phones I have seen are about $50 and I don’t want to spend that much on something I’m going to leave here.

I found a new Computer tech site I like a lot. www.TomsHardware.com It is a lot less biased then www.sharkyextreme.com. Yep, I’m already day dreaming about the bad ass I’m going to build when I get back to America.

I also added a link to the Seti site. Seti is a screen saver that processes data packets. These data packets are from a radio telescope that is searching for extraterrestrial signals; basically trying to tune in Alien TV and Radio broadcasts. Like the movie Contact (which I hated for the record). I also cleared off a couple links I no longer visit.

You may have also noticed I removed my ICQ# from the site. I will not be using ICQ anymore. ICQ used to have a program called ICQ lite that monitored ICQ and AOL IM and so I used it. However, the latest mandatory version causes my computer to hard crash when I get disconnected so I removed it. If anyone knows of a client that will monitor AOLIM & ICQ that isn’t MSN Messenger, I would love to hear about it.

I plan to see the new Matrix movie as soon as my ankle is strong enough.

I also am halfway through “Super Imperialism”. I am learning a LOT from it. My only gripe is that it is very repetitive.

Not much all that new going on the news. However, I found a lot of good articles on Counterpunch tonight.

Good Bye from tomorrow land…
