I have been very busy recently, hence the delay on an update. Today was a busy day. I finished my IR paper. I also gave my speech to the BSS, I love public speaking and it had been a while since I gave a speech outside of class.
I also finished my paper on Fast Food Nation and submitted it to the contest. I could really use to win the cash prize. Everyone I have had read it said it sounded good and flowed well. I posted it in the papers section
Yesterday, I went to the symposium meeting, wow is it going to be a lot of work. I have to put together a 20 minute presentation on my Bush v. Gore before next Thursday. I think I can pull it off. Then I get to submit my paper to their journal.
I spent 24 hours in Stockton last weekend to see friends, it was spur of the moment. I had a good time.
I'm down to 3 weeks of normal class. I have the symposium, re-editing my Bush v. Gore paper, one more econ paper, an existentialism paper, and a religious ethics paper, and a final in IR all in the next month. I'm going to try and do the econ paper over the weekend and the symposium.
I got my postcard from Sussex acknowledging they received my application. So I should find out in the next couple of weeks.
1st link: Paul Wellstone's crash is still a mystery. I doubt they ever will if it really was a conspiracy.
2nd link: Mark my words, if newspapers are allowed to be purchased by the big news networks we will truly be down to the internet for good information.
Not too many links today. Most sources are just rehashing of post war events and the Korean events I have already discussed.
